- Avoid Heat: Keep the fursuit away from heat sources, such as radiators or hairdryers, as high temperatures can damage or melt the synthetic fur and foam materials.
Cleaning Your Fursuit
- Spot Cleaning: For small stains, use a damp cloth with mild soap or a pet-safe detergent. Gently blot the area, and let it air dry.
- Hand Washing: When washing the fursuit, it’s recommended to hand wash it with cold water and a gentle detergent. Avoid scrubbing aggressively to prevent damage to the fur.
- Machine Washing: Some parts of the fursuit, like paws or body suits, may be machine washable on a gentle cycle using cold water. Make sure to turn them inside out, place them in a laundry bag, and air-dry afterward.
